What kind of computer should I bring?

You will be expected to use a laptop in class and for school work. Provided it meets our minimum requirements, you will be allowed to connect to the Internet using our automated registration system. Laptops will need to comply with our network standards and, consistent with our current policy, we will not be able to provide any support or service for a computer that does not meet our minimum requirements.
 
What are the minimum requirements for a laptop?
 
To meet the demands of the academic program, we strongly recommend you purchase a notebook computer before arriving at the Salisbury School. Students may bring either a Mac or a PC that meet the minimum requirements listed below.

 

Minimum Requirements

•         Windows 7 Professional/Ultimate

•         Mac OS 10.5 or higher

•         Processor: 32-bit or 64-bit

•         Memory: at least 2 GB

•         Hard Drive: at least 100 GB

•         Network: wireless
