The Salisbury School Admissions Office encourages all candidates to apply online. After a prospective candidate fills out an inquiry, he will later be able to use this record to apply for admission. The inquiry and the application are directly entered into the Salisbury School Admissions database. Your personal information is strictly confidential. August-February

We encourage candidates to schedule a campus interview while school is in session. Please call 860-435-5732 to schedule an appointment. During your visit to the Hilltop, you will be hosted by a student tourguide and meet with a member of the Admissions Office for a personal interview. Appointments can be scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and tours start from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. and on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Phone interviews are available in special circumstances.

October-January

Take the SSAT, ISEE, PSAT or SAT. We have information on the SSAT testing locations and times.  Visit www.ssat.org for additional information.

November-January

Distribute recommendation and transcript request forms to appropriate individuals.

February 1

Deadline for Admissions office receipt of

  1. Application
  2. Candidate's Writing Sample
  3. Transcript and Test Scores
  4. English, Mathematics and Character Recommendations

If you are applying for financial aid, a Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) from the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) should be submitted by this date. In addition, a copies of your most recently completed IRS Form 1040, all schedules and W-2's, must be sent to the Financial Aid Office.*

 

 

March 10

Admissions and financial aid decision letters will be mailed to applicants.

April 10

Students admitted on March 10 are asked to notify the Admissions Office of their decisions.

After March 10

Candidates whose files are completed after March 10 will be considered on a rolling admissions basis.
