Thirds Soccer
Coaches:  Rhonan Mokriski '90, Jeffrey May

A record breaking 3rd Western New England Thirds' Soccer league title and a Champions League Final appearance. Sort of speaks for itself, doesn't’t it? These are even more impressive accomplishments since a lot of neutral observers would agree that it happened in something of a transition year for the Flying Tech. Their central midfield lacked an above-average talent (which Barca made abundantly clear in the Champions League final) and they featured a lot of very young (Truini, LeBreton, and Falla) and very old players (Goldberg, Dush, and Cato) all over the pitch in regular roles. The breakout star of the season and likely the difference between winning the title and not, was local forward Nathanial O'Neill. His gift for efficient scoring had him lead the league in goals.

O'Neill's transfer to Barca has left Sarum Tech scrambling for scoring, but Sir Chisholm Chandler has done his best to supply talent. Mark Hamilton was promoted from the Under 18 squad. His previous Manager, Jonathon Gottsegan predicts Tech fans will be pleased with his scoring touch. Speedster Tiio Adams has transferred from the Hotspurs to help provide some offense. Co-Manager Jeff May also predicts that we will see great things from Brooks Robinson.

The defense will rise or fall on the skill of Sixth Form Captain, David LeBreton. His supporting corps consist of Ford Nolan, Shane Simpson, and Bryan Platt.

Center Mid-Fielder Dennis Park brings a Red-Devil type intensity to the pitch. Shinichi Hirata and Johnn Stevens will also provide play-making opportunities from the midline.

Mark Snellman brings size and skill to the keeper position.

The expectations are high, but Co-Manager Mokriski has recently purchased the FIFA App and is confident that the Tech will hang another banner in November.
