MEET THE COACHES:

Bobby Wynne e-mail

At Salisbury, Bobby Wynne serves as the Director of the College Office as well an overseeing role in the Dean's office. In the fall, he spends his afternoon on the gridiron where he heads up the Thirds Football Staff.

A member of two national championship teams, Wynne collected many individual honors as well. A two-time first-team USILA All-American (1993-94), he earned the USILA Division III Midfielder of the Year Award in 1994. Wynne received the Kraus Memorial Award, as the College’s top senior athlete and the Crook Family Award as the lacrosse MVP in 1994. After earning his degree from Hobart, Wynne remained active in lacrosse as an assistant coach at Hampden-Sydney College and Hobart. Wynne earned his first head coaching job, guiding Virginia Wesleyan College to its highest national ranking, 15th. After a two-year stint with the Marlins, Wynne accepted an assistant coaching position at Cornell University, where he was the defensive coordinator in 2001 and 2002. Wynne left the Big Red after the 2002 season to join the Salisbury School.

Currently in his seventh year as the head lacrosse coach, the team has compiled a 89-15 (.86) overall record and has captured a share of four Western New England Championships in 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2009.
