Maintenance Requests    

The Maintenance Department provides a web-based work request system, called SchoolDude, to the Salisbury School community, to receive work requests for needed services. This system allows us to receive requests, turn them into work orders, assign them to the appropriate person for completion, and monitor the progress of the requested work. This system is the most effective way to manage the entire process of getting work accomplished.

Submit a maintenance request

**Note**
If you get to a screen that asks for Organization Account Number, enter 47847914. The first time you go to the SchoolDude website, you need to enter your email address in order to submit a work request. Thereafter, SchoolDude should recognize you when you reach their website.

To submit a work request:

Click the "Maint Request" if not already there.
(Any step that has a check mark next to it is a required field)

Step 1 - should already be filled in. If not, fill in the requested fields.

Step 2 - Location - From the dropdown menu, choose the location where the work is to be performed. "Area" is an optional field. "Area/Room Number" is an optional (but helpful) field.

Step 3 - Click the icon that best describes your need.
"Maintenance Emergency" - click if there is a threat to persons or property. (If the emergency needs immediate attention, use the telephone and dial the Security line - 435 - 5759.)

Step 4 - Describe in as much detail as needed the request. A separate work request should be completed for each request for work i.e. ‘repair sink’ and ‘install new bulletin board’ are entered as two work requests, not one.

Step 5 - Enter password. The password is common to all users. It is currently 'request'. It will change periodically (you will be notified of the new password). If you forget the password, you can request it to be emailed to you.

Step 6 - Submit.

The system is set up to provide requesters with email notifications of the status of their requests (These notifications can be changed in "My Settings", so you will know the progress of your request.)
