The Parents Fund is an important component of Salisbury’s Annual Fund. Giving from parents, grandparents, friends and alumni help to sustain the School’s operating budget. The Parents Fund helps to offset those costs as revenue received through tuition and endowment income is not enough to cover the annual operating expenses of the School.
Gifts to the Annual Fund help keep the school community strong—underwriting many of the vital components that makes Salisbury so unique—financial aid, athletic programs, faculty compensation, residential life to such basics as snow removal and the day-to-day maintenance of the School’s expanding physical plant.
Participation is the key to providing for a successful Parents Fund. Gifts of any size create additional resources for the School and show enthusiasm and support for the education Salisbury provides each student. Parent giving accounts for nearly 30% of the Annual Fund. Traditionally 73% - 75% of all parents participate in our Annual Fund by way of the Parents Fund.
