Here are some questions that we found are always asked by new and returning parents – we hope they answer the questions that you have – but if you don’t find the answer here – please feel free to contact Deans' Office Assistant Gina Tierney or at (860) 435-5722.
Varsity Athletes will arrive on Wednesday September 8 and all other students will arrive on Sunday, September 12. We hold registration (in the Centennial building) from 8:30 am – Noon on both Wednesday and Saturday. We ask that you arrive by Noon so that you can complete the registration process in time for your son to begin orientation.
We have a complete list of “What to bring and What not to bring” included in the summer mailing. We ask that parents take a look at that sheet and make sure you are not packing prohibited items.
That information along with much more is given out at Registration. It’s quite a process, placing students in their dorms/rooms/roommates and the process is not finished until registration. III form students are not eligible to request certain rooms or roommates until their IV form year.
We offer transportation at a minimal cost to the students to Bradley International Airport and Wassaic Train Station (Wassaic, NY) for certain breaks – See the information from the Dean’s Office for all the particulars. Students must sign up prior to the break. We also email parents when the announcement is made to the students – we try and keep the parents in the loop for important items like this! Please make sure that you don’t book airline flights prior to 2:30pm for any break as we are not close to any of the airports/train stations and weather/road conditions can be a huge factor in getting students there.
That information will be provided to you at registration and our Director of Studies will be available that day to answer any questions.
