Spring Carnival

 

The annual Spring Carnival was held in the Class of 1959 Arena of the Flood Athletic Center on Saturday, April 2.  Salisbury boys, students from other area boarding schools and faculty families were invited to attend.  

Activities included a bungee jump, laser tag, a mechanical shark, a bouncy house and jousting.  Plenty of food was also available for purchase.  

Each participant was asked to make a $5 contribution for admittance.  More than $2,000 was raised and will be donated to the International Rescue Committee in support of three aid groups supplying food, tents and other critical supplies to survivors of Japan’s devastating earthquake and tsunami.

Special thanks goes to DJ Troy Ramcharran, a local resident who learned of the carnival and the cause it was helping and donated his services for the evening.
