About Brilliant Mistakes
Early in the summer of 2011, Salisbury School was contacted by Brighton. He was looking for a school location to shoot his first SAGindie film, Brilliant Mistakes. Headmaster Chandler approved the on-campus filming, which took place September 17-18, 2011. Several Salisbury students were cast as extras in the film.

Brilliant Mistakes is a dramatic story which will follow Marcus Wright, a 24-year old English teacher, through a heart-breaking journey when the girl he promises to marry, Gabby, gets into a car devastating accident.  She is nearly killed and can no longer speak or walk. While Marcus is dealing with Gabby's condition, he is confronted with life-changing decisions when two people in his life pull him in opposite directions. Marcus, who is a caring, loyal and altruistic young man, leans on these people during this most trying time. However, he realizes they are both not who they seem. “A startling revelation and hopeful ending will leave audiences both stunned and inspired,” notes Brighton.

The February 10 event is free of charge and open to the public.
