2010 OUTLOOK
The 2010 Crimson Knights look to continue to build off a 2009 WNEPSLA Co-Championship. The Knights will feature many new faces in the offense this year, but return the second and fifth leading point scorers from last season in Alex Love ’10 and Brenden Gilson ‘10. Alex was the leading goal scorer on last year’s team, and will look to lead the attack unit, while Brenden will provide some guidance for the midfielders. The 2010 Crimson Knights will also feature some new faces defensively, but 2009 All-American and All-New England honoree Jamie Faus ’10 is returning between the pipes to give the Knights great leadership in the defensive end of the field. Ian Gordon ’10 is back at the face-off X for the Knights and, after winning 83% of his draws last year, Ian will look to give the Knights the advantage in possession in every game this year. The 2010 Crimson Knights will be a very athletic team up and down the field, with many of our new players looking to contribute heavily in both the offense and the defense. The Knights will be returning to World Class Lacrosse in Orlando to get a week of warm weather practice and scrimmages against some of the top talent in the country. Immediately following their return to Connecticut, the 2010 Crimson Knights will be travelling to Baltimore to take on perennial national power Boy’s Latin School before beginning their WNEPSLA schedule and their ultimate goal of a repeat WNEPSLA championship. .
