Coach: Case Jernigan
Case, a South Carolina native, has been playing tennis since he was a toddler. After captaining a championship team at Woodberry Forest, he went on to compete at the national level with the Club team at William and Mary. He looks forward to coaching the Knight's this spring.
The boys on the JV team will be striving their hardest to reach the next plateau of their tennis game. To play one's best tennis, one must develop a strong mental game as well as a physical game. The ability to remain focused under pressure is the mark of a strong player, and the JV team will be stressing sportsmanship and consistency all trimester.
The key to playing confidently at the JV level is the ability to play aggressively. The JV team will work on tough serves, volleys, and overheads this season: so that our players will learn how to play aggressive tennis from every aspect of the court.
