ABOUT THE TEAM:

The varsity and JV teams proudly began their 2009-10 season on Nov. 30th on our new world-class 8-court facility and a record number of squash prospects.   Having graduated a large talent pool in 2009, we are looking to rebuild a competitive varsity ladder around the leadership of varsity returners Walker Chafee '11, Dennis Driscoll '10, Brendan McGlone '11, Emery Schoenly '10, Brookes Townsend '10 and Sam Wedge '10.   The squad this year also benefits from the talents and expereince of John Lamont '11, new to the Hilltop this year, and from the pressure of nearly a dozen hungry players from last year's JV, many of whom will make varsity debuts this year.   The move from a 3-court facility to the new facility allows us to maintain a longer ladder and to incorporate throughout the varsity and JV the deep experience of Assistant Coach Tim Callahan, who has returned to Salisbury after a year in Tanzania.

The upcoming season is unfortunately short on home matches, so we genuinely encourage parents and alumni to make the trip to Salisbury anytime they are able.  We have room for you to join us for practice- on or off court!
