Salisbury entered six wrestlers in the varsity tournament and the rest of the team in the JV tournament.  Nick Merriam placed second in the tournament at 130, losing in the finals to a tough wrestler from Loomis Chaffee.  Robert Ruiz won the tournament at 135 and was named the tournament's Outstanding Lightweight Wrestler.  Evan Boden and J.P. Ryan both lost their first matches and were knocked out of the varsity bracket, but were matched up against other varsity wrestlers knocked out of the bracket and earned their first victories of the young season.  Cameron Sprenger had a tough draw.  Many Salisbury Wrestlers in the JV tournament won matches and had a good experience their first day of competitive wrestling.
