Chisholm S. Chandler
Mr. Chandler enters his 27th year of service at Salisbury School, and 15th as the School's headmaster. Prior to assuming the chief leadership role, he worked in a number of other administrative positions, including director of admissions and director of college advising. In addition, he spent many years coaching various levels of interscholastic hockey, baseball and golf. He also served as a dorm parent in Langdon, Payson and Rennell dormitories. A graduate of The Hotchkiss School and Brown University, Mr. Chandler received his M.Ed. in School Leadership from Harvard University Graduate School of Education. He has served on the Board of Trustees at both Town Hill School and Indian Mountain School and also the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools (CAIS). Mr. Chandler and his wife Tracy reside on campus in the Headmaster's House with their four children, Zachary, Halle, Rusty and Lily.
