Those who have come together to build Salisbury School are uniquely qualified to lead what is one of the world’s leading schools. Meet Salisbury's leaders below.
Originally from Ripley, Ontario, Kurt attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) where he majored in Industrial & Management Engineering and was a student-athlete as a member of the men’s hockey team. After graduating in 2009, he spent a year working as a nuclear operator at a power plant in Ontario. In 2010, Kurt returned to his passions - education and coaching - at Castleton University, where he served as the graduate assistant coach with the men’s hockey team from 2010-2012 while obtaining his Master of Arts in Education. Since then, he has taught and coached at multiple boarding schools in New England. At Salisbury, he will be teaching in the Science department and coaching hockey and soccer. He is passionate about having a positive impact on his students in the classroom, dorm, and the playing field.
In his spare time, Kurt likes to read, stay active, and stay updated on world news. Kurt lives in Priestman Cottage with his wife, Jade, two cats, and his lab-greyhound mix, Yuki.
