Head Coach: Kati Brandon
Before joining Salisbury in 2014, Kati worked at Indian Mountain School as the Assistant Head of the Upper School, Director of Summer Programs, and a learning specialist. During her first three years at Indian Mountain she designed and implemented the Health Education curriculum and coached boys basketball and soccer. She received her Master's degree in Special Education from Simmons College and a B.S. in Health Education from Towson University.
Before Indian Mountain, Kati worked at the Kildonan School as a health and biology teacher, learning specialist, and three-season coach. Her time at Kildonan further ignited her passion to work with students who need prescriptive support to understand their learning styles, build confidence, and overcome academic challenges in order to reach their full potential. She is a Certified Reading Specialist, a Wilson Reading System Instructor, and trained in Orton-Gillingham.
Kati grew up in Shoreham, a small town on the eastern end of Long Island. In her free time she loves to exercise, read, be outside, and spend time with her family, friends, and dogs. She coaches basketball and lives in Ward dorm with her husband James Brandon, who teaches history and is also a member of the learning center team.
