Head Coach: Kirk Hall
After graduating from Salisbury School in 1990, Kirk attended Davidson College where he majored in history and earned a B.A. in 1994. After graduation, he returned to his hometown, Charlotte, NC, to help start and run a Charlotte-based marketing firm. Five years later, Kirk accepted a fellowship that would take him to Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. While working toward his master’s of divinity, Kirk also served as a pastor in Montana, a hospice chaplain in Georgia, and a missionary in rural El Salvador. After graduating from seminary in 2003, Kirk went on to New College School of Divinity at the University of Edinburgh, earning a master of theology degree. Returning to the United States, Kirk was ordained with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and began his work as associate pastor with First Presbyterian Church in Lexington, KY. In 2010, he was called to serve as the associate pastor for education with First Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, where he began working toward his doctorate of ministry degree from Columbia Theological Seminary. In the fall of 2013, Kirk returned to Salisbury to serve as chaplain and chair of the Philosophy and Religion Department. Kirk and his wife, Amy, live in Quaile with their two daughters.
