Summer Reading 2026
Below you will find the novels we would like members of each incoming form to read over the summer. Read, annotate, enjoy, and be ready to take a low-stakes, diagnostic writing assessment on the novel in the first week of classes when you come to school in the fall. Please bring a copy of your book to class when school starts.
NOTE: AP English Language & Composition and AP English Literature & Composition students: you have separate summer assignments, but feel free to read from the list below as well.
