David McKillop ’77

Emmy-winning producer David McKillop ’77 returned to the Hilltop to spending the day with students in the Buehner Media Lab and Class of 2025 Broadcast Studio. Drawing on his acclaimed work on Deadliest Catch, Dirty Jobs, Cartel Land, Gettysburg, and other projects, McKillop shared insights from his decades in television and film, emphasizing how his Salisbury experience helped shape his creative path.

In this filmed interview and classroom conversations, he encouraged students to stay curious, tell compelling stories, and learn to synthesize ideas—skills he noted are essential in any field.
