Originally from Exeter, NH, Brent first arrived to the Hilltop in the fall of 2001 as a post-graduate student-athlete. At Salisbury, he competed in varsity football, basketball and baseball. Following his year at Salisbury, Brent went on to the University of New Hampshire and played 4 years as Linebacker and Defensive End under Coach Sean McDonnell, appearing in 2 Division I-AA/FCS Playoffs during his time there. Brent graduated from UNH in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
Brent returned to the Hilltop in 2007 and has worked in the Deans Office, the Learning Center and the Athletic Department. Brent is proud to have been part of the staff that coached the Crimson Knight Varsity Football Team to three Erickson League Championships (2010, 2012, and 2016) and two Class “A” New England Championships (2010 and 2012).
He is currently the Dean of the Class of 2025, works as Assistant Athletic Director, is defensive coordinator for the Knights Football program and coaches Varsity Golf. Brent lives with his wife, Julia, and daughters, Blair and Bryn, in the Childs Neighborhood.
