Visit; Discover Salisbury for Yourself

We invite prospective students and their parents to visit us in person to see if Salisbury School is the right all-boy boarding school for them.

We know how crucial it can be to visit campus and get a better sense of a school’s community as a family aims to enroll at the school best-matched with their son's educational growth and goals.  We continue to welcome visits to campus, all visitors must adhere to  State of Connecticut travel guidelines.  Please contact the Admissions Office to schedule your visit in advance.

During Your Visit

We want to put you at ease in what can be a daunting process.  Upon arrival, you and your family will go on a campus tour with an Admissions Officer.

All visitors must practice social distancing and wear masks while on campus.  We continue to follow all CT State travel guidelines.

Please note that Salisbury requires an interview, most often we interview students and parents during their visit to campus. If you prefer a virtual interview, we are happy to accommodate and can arrange a mutually agreeable time to conduct that virtual conversation.

A Multidisciplinary Education
in a Peaceful Setting

Don’t let our stately buildings and lush, 725-acre main campus fool you — the education your son will receive at Salisbury School is modern and world-class. Our rural surroundings create the perfect atmosphere for contemplating the classics, exploring cutting-edge science and technology or learning business skills that give students a key advantage in a globalized economy.

Our curriculum includes a range of AP and advanced courses for college prep, as well as our Programs of Distinction in STEM, entrepreneurship, and digital media. Working closely with our faculty and advisors, students can choose a well-rounded course of study that nurtures their interests while ensuring they are fully equipped to succeed in the modern world.

Our Litchfield County, Connecticut boys’ boarding high school has 10 residences, extensive athletics and arts facilities and a wide range of other on-site amenities. Less than two hours’ away from NYC — and a short drive from Boston, Hartford and other major New England cities — we offer a combination of a secluded rural setting where students can focus on what matters most and the convenience of an East Coast location.

We are proud of our reputation as a preeminent Connecticut boarding school and of the role we play in shaping young men into the leaders of tomorrow.
