“My annual gift is a token of my appreciation for what Salisbury provided and continues to provide for me.”Will Casertano '09
There are many ways to support the School, including The Salisbury Fund, endowed funds benefiting all aspects of a Salisbury education, and planned gifts that ensure the long term financial stability of our community.
Capital gifts provide the funding to build, renovate, and maintain the facilities that form the infrastructure of Salisbury School. Recent examples include our newly renovated Spencer Hall, the Wachtmeister Turf Field, Salisbury’s historic academic buildings, the Curtis Boathouse and the Flood Athletic Center.
Endowed funds have an enduring impact on every aspect of a Salisbury education. Financial aid, faculty support and professional development, campus life, and academic and athletic programs all benefit from endowment funding.
From a simple bequest through your will, to gift annuities and trust arrangements, there are many vehicles at your disposal to make a gift to secure the future of Salisbury School and help build its permanent endowment.
We would be pleased to discuss Salisbury’s mission and how you can support it through your leadership capital, endowed, or planned gift.

Gifts of appreciated stock support Salisbury and provide great tax advantages to the donor.
Gifts of stock will provide a tax deduction for the full value of the stock, plus you will not pay any capital gains tax that you ordinarily would incur by simply selling the stock and holding the proceeds. This may allow you to generously support a priority at Salisbury that is especially meaningful to you. As always, please consult your financial advisor.
Many employers offer matching gift programs that will increase the impact of your donation. This can double or even triple your contribution to the School.
For more information about doubling the impact of your gift, please contact Michele Burns in the Development Office at 860-435-5705.
Your generous support strengthens our programs and furthers our mission. We invite you to peruse our Annual Report of Giving below, which honors our loyal supporters and tells the story of how your donations, large and small, impact the lives of the students, faculty, and staff in the Hilltop community.
