Football Captain, Jack Hanau ’20, delivers a blow against Brunswick. Along with Jack, Fabrice Mukendi ’21, Dominik Ostrowski ’20, Erik Bockisch ’21, Dymere Miller ’20, Tobias Braun ’20 and Youri Guillaume ’20 were all named to the All-Erickson League Team.
Our hockey was once again victorious at the Flood-Marr Christmas tournament. It was an especially meaningful celebration this year, as we all remembered former Headmaster Dick Flood for whom the tournament is named. The Knights beat Hotchkiss for their second consecutive F-M championship.
Wood “JW” Johnson III ‘95 serves as Executive Vice President for the Cleveland Browns focusing on the business side of the organization.
Jamie earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and communications from the University of Mississippi. He also is a member of the board of directors for the Cleveland Browns Foundation and chairs the foundation’s fundraising committee.
He and his wife, Whitney, have three sons, Hank, Ross and Max.
Our basketball team is off to their best start since 2012, recording early season victories over Avon, Berkshire, Millbrook, and Trinity-Pawling. In a showcase over the Christmas holiday, they went 3-0, beating Belmont Hill, Tabor, and Thayer. Captain and leading scorer, Brandon Roughly '20, is headed to Williams College next year.

Varsity soccer enjoyed some major wins this fall, most notably, back-to-back victories over Brunswick and Millbrook. Another highlight was a comeback from a three-goal deficit against Kent to take the game 4-3. Hedi Abderrahim '21 and Thomas Yegbor ’20 were named to the league all-star team, Thomas also made the NEPSAC all-star team, with a goal and an assist in the all-star game!

Celebrate the Knights' 23-race winning streak!
This fall, the varsity cross country team boasted an unprecedented 23 race winning streak with 29 wins overall. One highlight from the fantastic season came on September 28 with a championship win at the Richard Miller Invitational Race in Simsbury, CT. Racing ten teams, the victory was truly a team effort. Despite the fact that Salisbury placed no one in the top five, they stole the day with Ford Cousin '21 in 6th, Max Lampe '22 in 7th, Asher Sedlin '21 in 9th, Charlie van Beuren '22 in 10th and Robert Luo ’20 in 16th! Congratulations on an incredible season!
