Our community was excited to once again host alumni, parents, family, and friends back on the Hilltop to celebrate everything, Salisbury.  Given that it's been three years since we hosted Reunion and Spring Family Weekend, it's no surprise we brought back record numbers of alumni and family.

Highlights of the weekend included a tailgate dinner for students and their families at our varsity lacrosse game at which our boys handily beat Choate 11-8.  Our alumni re-connected at the Curtis Boathouse while tasting alumni-owned craft brews and enjoyed a gorgeous sunset over the lake.

Guests of the weekend participated in a number of activities including hitting golf balls at our brand new golf range facility, fly fishing demos, a row on Lake Washinee, gallery opening of student art, hikes, and our first-ever Pop-Up Shops experience.

Guests were invited to join panel sessions that include both a student and parent panel.  Student panelists included Will DeLaGarza ’22, Robert Castro-Terrio ’22, Trey Deere ’23, and Charles Barzun ’24. The “Perspectives on the Path to Leadership” parent panel included Jodi Gregg P'15, ’20, Heather Moore P'22, Dianne Dobbeck P'23 and Austyn Zung P'22.  The entire community joined our Convocation where we were treated to performances from our classical ensemble and words from alums Mike '73 and Paul '86 Harney.

A very special dedication of the Susan DeMelle X was perhaps the best representation of Salisbury Gentlemen for the weekend.  Grateful alumni turned out in droves to honor Susan and share their appreciation for her role in their lives.  The common theme was the impact Susan had on their confidence as learners and how the skills she taught each of them have been carried with them into adulthood.

A Service of Remembrance for our alumni was held on Saturday evening during which alumni took the time to honor and remember their fallen Brothers. Classes then gathered and processed with banners to the Class of 2018 Student Center Belin Lodge for a delicious dinner complete with a Kentucky Derby viewing party. The weekend concluded Sunday morning with a farewell brunch for families and alumni. Thank you to all who made this a weekend to remember!
