A Return To Tradition for Salisbury's Knight of the Long Table

A product of Headmaster Emeritus Chis Chandler P'18, '24, Salisbury's Knight of the Long Table was created as a tribute to our sixth formers as an outlet to celebrate the Brotherhood of the class. When COVID arrived on our doorstep we missed a year and adjusted for another year.  The entire Salisbury community is pleased to host not only the Class of 2022, but also later next week, the Class of 2020, who unfortunately missed theirs.

Among the many year-end celebrations enjoyed this year, The Class of 2022 arrived at Curtis Boathouse this year without having seen the event held at the lake, as typically, our fifth formers graciously serve as waiters, donning a tuxedo t-shirt, but due to COVID were unable to perform that duty last year.

Greeting each and every member of the Class of 2022 as they entered the Boathouse, was Acting Head of School Bobby Wynne P'19, Assistant Head of School for Institutional Advancement Peter Gilbert P'18, '20, and Dean of the Class of 2022 Kevin Huber P'23  and a candlelit table awaiting its guests.  Following the official welcome and dinner blessing, the boys were encouraged to relax and enjoy their last official evening together as a group.

As is now tradition, following the feast, members of 2022 shared toasts with one another, reflected on their time here at Salisbury, and embraced the future awaiting them.

Cheers Gentlemen; we hope you enjoyed the ride - we did!
