Community Day

Community Day

Community Day was held on Wednesday, a day in which we had the opportunity for our faculty to connect with our boys outside of the classroom, and to introduce them to learning something new. Our faculty held workshops, took trips, taught unique lessons, worked together on meaningful projects, and shared in some adventures with our Knights.

Some of our Community Day activities included mural painting, woodworking, games of chess and backgammon, rock 'n' roll jam sessions, Krav Maga, yoga, meditation, fishing, learn-to-skate, baking and cooking various delicacies, grilling down by the lake, hikes to Lions Head and Rand's View, building Adirondack chairs, and lumberjack lessons. The options were endless!

Community Day was a great success for Salisbury. Our faculty and our boys appreciated a day devoted to learning outside of our typical academic program; it was a great day to be a Knight!

The day was filmed by James Slattery '24 and edited by Chris Jung '24, which can be viewed here.
