The 2020-21 school year is off to a successful start! While everything looks a little bit different this year, we are thrilled to have a full campus of boys back on the Hilltop.
We welcomed our Knights back in phases over the course of the last several of weeks, to ensure the health and safety of our entire community. As we do each year, before classes commenced on Friday, September 11, our senior leaders participated in leadership training, with all students taking part in Orientation, and pod training for athletic pre-season teams. Despite the differences to our normal start to the school year, one thing is certain, our Knights and everyone that is a part of the Salisbury community is thoroughly enjoying being together on the Hilltop again, and the energy on campus is palpable.
This year, we give special thanks to our Operation Open leadership team for all of their time and effort in the reopening of School. Associate Headmaster Bobby Wynne P'19 lead the team, which met twice each week since March in preparation for the opening of school and the return of our Knights to the Hilltop. The team was comprised of Trustee Dicky Riegel '84, Headmaster Chisholm Chandler (Hon. '11), P'17, '24, Assistant Headmaster for Institutional Advancement Peter Gilbert P'18, '20, Director of Communications and Marketing Shana Stalker, Director of Admissions Bill Warder, Interim CFO Josephine Leary P'12, '14, Director of Health Services Beth Hammond P'20, Dean of Faculty Jon Siff, Dean of School Andrew Will, Dean of Academic Life Sarah Mulrooney, Director of Studies Juliana Pecchia, Director of Athletics Tim Sinclair '91, Director of Campus Life Jennifer Siff, Director of HR Margy Donecker, Director of IT Pete Raifstanger, Computer and Information Systems Manager Jill Cunningham, Director of Buildings and Grounds Bill Boyer, and Director of Dining Services Tony Fraenkel.
