Salisbury School proudly accepted the Community Unsung Hero Award at the One Night for One Love event held on April 10, 2019 in New York City at The Cipriani. The award was given to Salisbury for our efforts as a community with the One Love Foundation and its mission to end relationship abuse. The event celebrated a year of important milestones and the incredible heroes who have made the foundation’s growth possible.

The Unsung Heroes Award is given to individuals and communities who go above and beyond to bring the educational program of the One Love Foundation and Yeardley Love to their communities. Salisbury School has become a role model for all independent schools in its implementation of the One Love Curriculum.

650 people attended the dinner. In addition to honoring Salisbury and three individuals, the organization was celebrating having reached over 600,000 young people across the country about learning how to have healthier relationships and identifying warning signs of unhealthy behaviors.

Go Knights!
