Salisbury School is pleased to announce that at the spring 2022 meeting, the Board of Trustees unanimously elected two alumni of distinction as the school's new Co-Chairs, Campbell Langdon '79 and David Leavy '88.

This announcement follows the departure of Chair Dicky Riegel '84.  Dicky faithfully served Salisbury for more than 25 years in multiple roles, as a Trustee, Officer and eventually Chair. He began as President of the Alumni Association in 1997, before becoming a Trustee in 2000, and in 2007, was elected Secretary of the Board until 2019 when he was unanimously voted in as Chair.

Dicky is the consummate Salisbury Gentleman.  For the last quarter decade, he has loved Salisbury with all his heart and directed his energy, enthusiasm and support to all levels of the community. He has been instrumental in so much of the school's success over the years, including most recently having helped effectively navigate the COVID pandemic.  He has never wavered in his support and leadership of, and dedication to, Salisbury.  Dicky Riegel is a Salisbury man.

Upon Dicky's retirement from the Board as an active trustee, the school is in good hands as he passes the baton to two loyal and talented alumni who will be joining incoming Head of School Will Webb in moving Salisbury confidently into the future.

David has been Vice-Chair of the Board since 2019, and Campbell has served as Treasurer since 2018.  Combined, they have over two decades of experience as Trustees.  The Board decided on electing Co-Chairs for the first time given the scope, responsibilities and time commitment of the Chair role in today's current operating environment.  Their complementary skillsets, background and experiences make Campbell and David the perfect team to provide the necessary leadership, direction and support to the school and full board across so many opportunities and challenges.

Campbell Langdon is an operating partner at TruArc, working with the firm's Tech-Enabled Business Services portfolio companies. He currently serves as chairman of Lamark Media, ECRM and HCTec, and was formerly chairman of ZeroChaos. Prior to joining the TruArc team, Campbell was a senior executive serving as president of Major Accounts Services at Automatic Data Processing, Inc. and a partner at McKinsey & Company.

Campbell received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College. He comes from a long legacy of service to Salisbury School, as his grandfather, Reverend George Langdon, served as Headmaster of the school from 1942 to 1965.

David Leavy is Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for Warner Bros. Discovery, overseeing key business functions, including corporate relations, global government relations and public policy, corporate marketing and events, global communications, research, ESG and social responsibility.

Prior to joining Discovery, David served as Chief Spokesman and Senior Director of Public Affairs for the National Security Council and as Deputy Press Secretary for Foreign Affairs in the Clinton White House. He is a graduate of Colby College, and also serves on the Board of Trustees for the National Democratic Institute (NDI).

In addition to new Co-Chairs, a new Executive Committee was unanimously voted on, including Vice Chairs Matthew Barzun P'21, '24, and Bob Zabel '85; Treasurer Greg Johnson P'21; Vice Treasurer John Lambros P'22; Secretary David Mathus '77, P'22; Vice Secretary Reverend Bill Danaher '83; and Chair Integrity & Belonging, Building and Planning Committee Head, John Coleman '77.
