For the third year in a row, alumni and parents (current and previous) participated in the Sarum Challenge – a three-day class versus class battle for the highest participation in The Salisbury Fund. As Headmaster Chandler’s first graduating class, alumni of the Class of 1992 rallied together in honor of the nearly 30 years of service from the Chandler family. The gentlemen of ’92 surged straight to the front out of the gate and appeared to carry the lead all the way through to the final stretch. But as Yogi Berra said back in 1973, “it ain’t over till it’s over!” Well, the Class of 1973 must have heard him from the Hilltop because with a figurative dive across the finish line, they nudged past ’92 for the win in the final tally! For a battle well fought, we look forward to welcoming the Class of 1973 and the Class of 1992 back for Homecoming Weekend this fall.

Not to be left out, Salisbury parents have been so supportive this year!  Parents in the third thru sixth form had a record-breaking 81% overall participation with the Class of 2024 as the Challenge winner!

Thank you to all who participated in this year’s Sarum Challenge to send the Chandler family off with a record-breaking year. We really are stronger together.
