Schedule A Visit to the Hilltop

Schedule a Visit

We invite prospective students and their parents to visit us in person to see if Salisbury School is the right all-boy boarding school for them. If distance prevents you from visiting, either phone, Skype or off-campus interviews are acceptable, too.  We host candidates Monday-Saturday during the school year; appointment times vary depending on the day of the week.  The campus visit typically last about two hours.  If you would like to meet a specific teacher or coach, please let the admissions office know when you schedule an appointment.  In the meantime, feel free to keep browsing our website and learn about our Academic ProgramsCampus Facilities and Admissions Process.

Salisbury School is a located on a lush, 725-acre campus in Litchfield County, Connecticut. We are a boys’ boarding high school with 10 residences, extensive athletics and arts facilities and a wide range of other on-site amenities. Less than two hours’ away from NYC — and a short drive from Boston, Hartford and other major New England cities — we offer a combination of a secluded rural setting where students can focus on what matters most and the convenience of an East Coast location.

We are proud of our reputation as a preeminent Connecticut boarding school and of the role we play in shaping young men into the leaders of tomorrow.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Upon arrival, you and your family will go on a campus tour with a current student that we have matched based on geography and/or interests. After returning from the campus tour, you will interview with an admissions officer. The interview is as much for your benefit as it is for the Salisbury Admissions Office. Your questions and specific interests and talents are appreciated. We are excited that you have visited our wonderful campus and want to put you at ease in what can be a daunting process.

Appointment Times

Please call 860-435-5732 or e-mail us as to arrange a campus visit. The tour and interview process usually takes about two hours. Please let us know if you would like to meet with anyone specifically such as a teacher or a coach. We look forward to hosting you on the Hilltop.
