Salisbury School is an all-boys private boarding school in New England’s Litchfield County. Our campus is located on 725 acres in northwest Connecticut, and features two main academic buildings, 10 residences and several state-of-the-art athletics and arts facilities. Our all-boys boarding school is located near New York, with less than a two-hour drive from the NYC metro area. Salisbury School is also within easy distance of Boston, Albany, Hartford, Greenwich and several other major population centers in the Northeast.

We are also well-known among New England’s all-boys boarding schools for our dining hall, which boasts a farm-to-table philosophy that draws heavily on local ingredients.

Several hotels and bed and breakfasts in the nearby Salisbury-Lakeville area offer a place to stay if you’re visiting our boys’ boarding high school from far out of town or for a tour, Parents’ Weekend or Reunion Weekend. Be advised, however, that lodging can fill up quickly during these special events, so be sure to book your room well in advance.

From the West
Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, and Albany International Airport in Albany, New York, are approximately an hour and a half from campus.
Train service on Metro North’s Harlem Valley Line out of Grand Central Station in New York City is available to the Wassaic Station, about a twenty minute drive from campus.
