Junior Varsity Soccer
Head Coach: Chris Russell
Chris was born and raised in Concord, MA. He attended The Belmont Hill School in Belmont, MA before heading north to Colby College. At Colby Chris majored in English and American Studies, and played varsity soccer and varsity hockey. Chris graduated from Colby in 1995, spent a year in Colorado and a second year in Boston before beginning his teaching career at The Williston Northampton School. At Williston, Chris taught a variety of US and World History courses, coached the boys varsity soccer team, and worked with both the boys and girls varsity hockey teams. In his time at Salisbury Chris has worked in the college office and the deans’ office, he currently serves as the chair of the history department. Chris resides on campus with his wife Merrilee and their children Adele, Mia, and Christopher.
Adam Mayer | profile
Adam was called to teaching – and independent schools – as a young man. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Mathematics Education at the University of New Hampshire and he more recently studied Independent School Leadership at Johns Hopkins University. Adam has been an independent school man for the last 18 years, most recently at the McDonogh School in Maryland. He is very excited to now serve Salisbury School and has quickly made a home in the 1995 Trustees house here on the Hilltop. Adam and daughters Emilie and Maggie have enjoyed exploring the Twin Lakes on their SUP.
