Head Coach:  Peter Gilbert

Peter grew up in the Midwest and graduated from New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois. After graduating from Dickinson College with a history degree, Peter accepted a teaching position at The Rectory School. Peter was involved in many aspects of school life there: admissions, placement, history, basketball and lacrosse.

While finishing his master's degree at the University of Virginia, Peter worked part-time at the Collegiate School in Richmond, VA, as a history teacher and lacrosse coach. Peter and wife Caroline were on the faculty at the Tilton School where he was an admissions associate, college counselor and the head lacrosse coach. "Every day I draw on the variety of experiences I have had at different schools. My wife and I truly enjoy being a part of the Salisbury community. This is a special place with wonderful people that truly make a significant difference in boys' lives. We decided a long time ago that this was the type of school where we wanted to live and work."

During Peter’s tenure as the Director of Admissions he has done presentations at national conferences including NAIS, SSATB and IECA.

The Gilberts live in the Pugh House with their sons Amos and Caleb.

Dixon grew up outside Philadelphia in Wallingford, PA, and graduated from Strath Haven High School, where he played soccer, ice hockey, and lacrosse. In 2014, Dixon received his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He enjoyed his time living in New Hampshire so much that he spent his summers on campus as a Teaching Assistant at Tuck’s Business Bridge Program.

Dixon is excited to join the Salisbury community and begin his career as a teacher, coach, and advisor. He resides in Tappert with his wife Lauren and their two daughters, Leah and Gracie.
